We are very grateful to our supporters for enabling us to work with our partners to save tamarins and marmosets from extinction.
Your help supports:
- Field research to locate and study the remaining wild populations, and equipment to monitor and support them.
- Rescue, rehabilitation and release into the wild of tamarins and marmosets
- Tree planting and bridge building to restore and reconnect forest fragments, enabling monkeys to move freely again around their habitats
- Capacity building in the monkeys’ home countries to care for them both in the wild and in captivity.
How you can help
There are several ways you can help us raise funds for our projects:
Become a Friend of Tamarin Trust
Under our Friends of Tamarin Trust scheme, a small monthly donation will enable us to expand our work in South America with tamarins and marmosets.
If you become a Friend, a portion of your donation each year will go towards the tree planting initiative we are supporting in the heart of the Amazon (read more here), to help cover the cost of taking a native tree seed from collection, through germination in the nursery, to planting out, and then monitoring to ensure that it is safely established.
We will keep you in touch with the tree-planting scheme and all our activities, and you will be able to attend future webinars by staff from Tamarin Trust and our partner organisations so you can see how your contribution is helping to save marmosets and tamarins from extinction.
